Aerial photograph of Jurassic turbidites deposited in a fore-arc basin. The sandstones and conglomerates were supplied mainly from a volcanic provenance. Note gravel beach exposed at low tide and uplifted marine terraces. The waterfall in the center is estimated to be 100 feet or more high.
