Crystal Cove State Park preserves the largest stretch of undeveloped coastline in Orange County. The park's 3 1/4-mile long sandy beach, bisected by rocky points, is backed by dramatic bluffs and elevated marine terraces of Middle Miocene shales and sandstones.
